Specific Requirements: Using Computerized information system receives initial tier 1 inbound calls from consumer product end users on IT application issues. Calls are generally of an informational nature, providing guidance to first time users of client's computer system with some calls involving resolution of simple technical issues related to a specified narrow product range. Some outbound follow up required in event of escalation. Escalated calls forwarded to third party internal / external functional expert group. May involve some basic software testing / research for client problem identification. Position requires specific knowledge of client products and related software. Involves using a database for information input and extraction to aid in problem tracking and resolution. Call handling times are typically very long and virtually all calls entail problem resolution. Most calls require documentation and data entry for case management and follow up.
