| Supervisor of Payroll & Benefits Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Supervisor of Payroll and Benefits is responsible for managing the areas of payroll, benefits and pension. The Supervisor of Payroll and Benefits will provide supervision and direction to staff for day-to-day administration of the 27 different employee benefits plans, OMERS pension plans and payroll processing for approximately 1200 employees. In this key role, you will participate on, and often act as team lead for, special projects related to Payroll, Benefits and Time and Attendance. Detailed job description available upon request. You will possess a diploma in a related field with emphasis in payroll and benefits administration with progressively responsible experience. Payroll and/or benefit certification (e.g. CPS and CEBS) would be considered an asset. You are committed to professionalism and teamwork; possess a comprehensive knowledge of contemporary human resource practices with a strong emphasis on customer service and communication skills.
