| *This is a term position ending April 27, 2013 or sooner DESCRIPTION The Specific Purpose Accounts Clerk is responsible for the day-to-day operations within the Finance department with regard to Specific Purpose Accounts (SPA) (Trust and Research). QUALIFICATIONS - Completion of high school education, Manitoba standards required - Completion of Business/Accounting diploma from a recognized business college within the last 8 years required. - An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered - Minimum 2 years experience within the last 5 years in a computerized accounting environment required - Experience with specific purpose account maintenance preferred - Typing minimum 50 WPM required - Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook) required - Knowledge of General Accounting concepts and account coding required - Must have excellent communication skills (oral and written) in the English language - Must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills - Must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment - Must have the ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines and manag.... |
