This may include: creating new soybean crosses and selecting pure lines with enhanced seed oil and protein and straw characteristics for bio-product uses, evaluating the fuel and fibre value of highly productive soybean lines, developing novel methods for manipulating the compositions of soybean oil, protein and fibre, and conducting agronomic sustainability and life cycle analysis of industrial soybean within the agri-food production system.
