| Job Title: Sourcing Support Specialist Job ID: 504283 Location: Dieppe Full/Part Time: Full-Time Regular/Temporary: Regular Return to Previous Page The Strategic Sourcing Group is responsible for the cost effective procurement of all goods and services for the Irving companies based in Moncton. Reporting to the Vice-President of Strategic Sourcing the Sourcing Support Specialist will provide support to the Sourcing Group in several specialized areas. These areas will include updating and analysis of industry costs and trends, tracking of Supplier contracts and insurance and Computer system support and testing. The Sourcing Support Specialist is also responsible for identifying opportunities to improve procurement cost of all goods and services required by the Company. In many cases this will require that they identify new suppliers, obtain proposals, and assist with the implementation of successful proposals. The Successful Candidate will be responsible for: Updating various commodity tracking spreadsheets and systems; Updating and tacking insurance certificates from suppliers; Build new tracking spreadsheets and cost models; Sharepoint site maintenance; Become a system trainer for.... |
