| Title Shipper/Receiver Position Overview Reporting to the Shop Foreman, the Shipper/Receiver is responsible for all shipping and receiving functions required on the project. Key Responsibilities Load, secure, and offload loads of deliverables and assist with receivables; Management of inventory control processes (scribe/barcode); Copying and filing packing slips; Maintain the highest level of safety and participate in required safety and related training; Observe all safety practices by peers and ensure an overall safe working environment; Maintain the highest standard of housekeeping in all areas of the warehouse; Proactively assist in general warehousing activities. Required Knowledge & Skills Minimum 1-3 years of warehousing experience, with a familiarity with construction tools, equipment and material; Certified in TDG, First Aid, Construction Safety, and/or other warehousing certifications would be an asset, but not required; Forklift experience considered an asset; Demonstrated mathematical aptitude and accuracy in handling of details; Efficiently handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail within a high-pressure work environment; Required to lift.... |
