| Date Posted: Jan 13, 2012 Shipper/Receiver - Bookstore (Stock keeper I) Commercial Services Competition Number: C207-11-JB ADPS The bookstore is the primary source for student textbooks and supplies. This role is responsible for accurately receiving, returning and shipping all goods for the bookstore. NOTE: This is a part time, hourly paid contract position. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Receiving and shipping all product for the bookstore • Conducting book returns in a timely and efficient manner • Communicating with suppliers regarding any discrepancies • Department Liaison for course packs – consignment product (ordering, receiving, pricing and monthly reporting on sales to departments.) • Cleaning and maintaining an organized area • Ordering and maintaining shipping supplies QUALIFICATIONS: • 2-3 years of shipping/receiving (preferably in a book retail setting) • Strong mathematical and analytical skills for accurate pricing and inventory management. • Good communication skills both verbal and written • Excellent customer service skills • Ability to work alone and interact with bookstore team as required • Effe.... |
