| Senior Reservoir Simulation Engineer - (Job Number: 08720) 141440 Senior Reservoir Simulation Engineer 08720 We are currently looking for a Senior Reservoir Simulation Engineer in the Emerging Oil Sands Business Unit. Reporting to the Manager of Technology Development, the successful candidate will be assigned to provide reservoir engineering input to the team to maximize the value of the Emerging Oil Sands Business Unit asset base. You will assess and optimize the various projects that are being considered. You will provide input into the development plan, start up procedures, well designs and performance monitoring. Responsibilities will include: Developing optimum thermal recovery processes and depletion strategies. Specifying, coordinating and collecting geological, laboratory and other reservoir engineering data to prepare reservoir simulations Developing reservoir simulation models that accurately reflect all the available geological and reservoir engineering data and provide a reservoir depletion plan for the fields Performing reservoir simulations to assess various development strategies for new and existing thermal recovery projects.
