| Senior Programmer/Analyst<br/><br/>Job Type: contract<br/>Location: Toronto<br/>Province/State: ON<br/>Country: CA<br/><br/>Description: Six month contract in downtown Toronto. The Senior Applicant Developer will code, test and debug new software or enhancements to existing software in a financial application (risk, fixed income & currencies). The Incumbent will develop necessary understanding of numerous user developed MS Excel spreadsheets and MS Access databases/reports which are currently being used for Market Risk management of fixed income and commodity related businesses, take over their day-to-day operations and selectively re-engineer some of them using proper software development approach.<br/><br/>The successful applicant will have:<br/><br/>• 7+ years of experience in software development at least 3 of which should be in a capital markets environment<br/>• Expertise in gathering, analyzing and documenting business processes.<br/>• Strong expertise in Excel/VBA and MS Access<br/>• MS Windows, .Net framework, WPF, WCF, and VSTO<br/>• MBA and CSh.... |
