| Senior Programmer Analyst Job Description Competition Number OCIO.11.12.210 Available Positions 1 Permanent Position - (non-bargaining) Employer Office of the Chief Information Officer - Application Services Locations St. John's Closing Date 13 Feb 2012 Salary $61,443.20 - $68,741.40 per annum (GS-40) Duties This position performs systems analysis and programming on the Client Automated Pay System (CAPS). The incumbent understands the business needs and the problems of the organization and recommends, defines and implements appropriate solutions to resolve these problems. Specifically, the position is responsible for: request processing and quality control, maintenance and support and administration of the CAPS system and co-ordinating implementations to staging and production; working closely with OCIO Team Leads and business users to determine scope of requested modifications, defining requirements, developing time estimates; ensuring that modifications and enhancements are correct and adhere to OCIO standards; ensuring that all unit and system testing is adequate and reviewed with the user; writing and modifying medium to complex computer programs as required; preparing program .... |
