| Title Senior Production Accountant Overview Our client is a Calgary based, public oil and gas producer with current production of approximately 15,000 BOEPD. Launched in 2004, they went public in 2008 and currently have around 45 employees. Production has been achieved primarily through drilling and is entirely in Alberta, almost all operated at a high average working interest and low well count. Current production is mostly liquids-rich gas with a growing oil component. In addition to having a sound balance sheet, other key features as an employer include: - very low staff turnover - a young, progressive management team that encourages business process improvement - private offices - stock options - flexible work hours and flex days - membership at one of Calgary's premium downtown fitness clubs Eight finance/accounting staff report to the Controller including a junior PA, a consulting PA, JVA, two AP and two financial accountants. Responsibilities - Full cycle production and revenue accounting using PetroNet (properties are not overly complex) - Overseeing the upload of monthly revenue/royalty vouchers into QByte - Being the 'go-to' person for the PA team, mentoring PAs and ensur.... |
