| Grantech Engineering International Inc. GTI, is a quality and results oriented corporation providing project management, conceptual, front end and detailed engineering, procurement, construction management, commissioning and start-up services to the oil and gas industry.
Reporting directly to Grantech’s Project Manager and President. Responsible for the research, design and development of machinery and systems for heating, ventilation and air conditioning, power generation, transportation, processing and manufacturing. They also perform duties related to evaluation, installation, operation and maintenance of mechanical systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
By the use of benchmarking, education, attendance of the conferences, liaisons with customers and suppliers etc, develops and maintains state of the art knowledge of the mechanical design of power electronics including:
Thermal stress management (cooling mechanisms and devices, mounting/retention methods, stress management methods)
Device implementation (packaging, mounting, connection etc.)
PCBA and DFM techniques
Enclosure design
Sealing design
