| Senior Measurement Technologist Job ID: KR20122701-02602 Description: Company: Spectra Energy Transmission - West Department: Measurement Technical Services Closing Date: February 17 th , 2012 Responsibilities/Job Description: This position will provide measurement technical support to all measurement groups within SET-West. Provide measurement technical support in the following areas: Support field Measurement, SCADA, Volume Accounting, Engineering, Gas Control, producers and contractors. Provide input into the development of procedures and policies for measurement equipment calibrations, verifications, maintenance etc. Ensure SET-West Measurement equipment is maintained to provide accurate and reliable real time measurement. Support Field Measurement and Area Business Leaders (ABL) in developing/executing mitigation plans to address identified gas quality issues. Ensure SET-West Measurement personnel have the necessary tools and training required to maintain measurement equipment. Liaise between SET-West, suppliers and producers to help manage SET-West and producer measurement equipment types and firmware. Review and approve new receipt point tie-in requests.
