| Senior Internal Auditor Location: Ottawa/Outaouais Security clearance: Secret Travel Required: No Start Date: immediate Employer Type: Public Sector DESCRIPTION Our Government Client is looking for an experienced auditor on a “temporary help” basis (under the advanced auditor category of THS) to complete the audit planning memorandum for the management controls framework Audit of Financial Management and Controls . The objective of this audit is to independently assess the effectiveness and adequacy of the financial management control framework across NRC with a view to ensuring that financial transactions are carried out with due diligence, that financial information is reliable and has integrity and that there is compliance with the Financial Administration Act . The audit management software TeamMate is used by the Internal Audit team for all audit working papers. The nature of the work requires experience in communicating financial management issues at senior management level. QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience in planning audit project work in the area of financial management and control in accordance with TBS standards and those of the Institute of Internal Audit.... |
