| Senior Grain Accountant Location: Winnipeg Type: Accounting & Finance Job Description: Senior Grain Accountant Are you an experienced grain accountant with excellent communication skills? If you can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, the position of Senior Grain Accountant is for you. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will maintain responsibility for all daily accounting processes related to grain commodities, and provide support to the company ?s merchant group. What You Will Do Record contracts and sales agreements Prepare export sale documentation Record daily grain commodity transactions Maintain responsibility for invoicing and payables Analyse commodity profits & losses Perform month-end processes; adjusting journal entries, inventory valuation & account reconciliation Provide ongoing client customer service Must Haves Minimum 2 years grain accounting experience Post-secondary degree or diploma in commerce or business administration Enrollment in CMA or CGA program preferred Exceptional communication and customer service skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Export sales and foreign exchange experience an asset Apply Now!
