| Senior Financial Accountant Location: Kitchener, Ontario Job Description Summary The Financial Accountant is responsible for monthly and yearly reconciliations, preparation of various financial reports using an ERP system, government reporting, and preparation of working papers amongst other duties as defined below under the direction of the VP Finance. Duties and Responsibilities Prepare weekly cash flow reports for holding company and subsidiary companies Prepare weekly sales reports for subsidiary companies Prepare monthly job cost reports for all divisions Prepare monthly bank margin reports Supervise and/or prepare Simply Accounting reconciliations for subsidiary companies and Property Maintenance Division Invoicing and collections for rental income properties Process government remittances (HST, Corporate Tax, EHT) for 7 companies Full-cycle accounting for holding company and subsidiary companies Prepare year end GL reconciliations and working papers for 8 companies Government reporting and liasion with government officials Mentor and assist with training junior level accounting staff Various other assignments and preparation of reports as assigned by the VP Finance Relations.... |
