| Title Senior Estimator, Construction Position Overview Reporting to the Chief Estimator, the Company seeks a Senior Estimator to join their team in Calgary to assume responsibility for the cost management of large ICI jobs from pre-construction through to completion. Specifically, the Senior Estimator will: work closely with project owners and consultants to: prepare cost plans; assess options to value-engineer; and, set budgets and schedules. remain entrenched in the project throughout construction to ensure that activities are cost effective and project specifications are met, and to address any problems that may arise. play a key role in maintaining relationships with clients and subtrades and will be communicating project process to the management team. Requirements SENIOR ESTIMATOR Ideally, candidates should have post-secondary education in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or another closely related discipline from a recognized college or university. The individual must also have a minimum of five years experience working as a Senior Estimator on a wide variety of building structures and civil works as well as a strong working knowledge of all pro.... |
