| Title Senior Auditor Overview Our client is a large Calgary based leader in natural gas production and long considered an employer of choice in Calgary. Currently there is a need to add a Senior Auditor. This role reports to the Manager, Technology, Risk & Governance and forms part of the Financial Compliance & Audit Team in the Corporate Finance group. Responsibilities Working with a team of IT auditors and Continuous Monitoring auditors, the focus will be to deliver results for IT and SOX audits. Responsibilities include: - Lead the execution and delivery of the IT application and general computer control SOX testing program. - Report results to the Manager, Technology, Risk & Governance and external audit team - be involved in and perform SOX testing during peak times - implement a stream-lined, collaborative review process for IT and SOX audits - mentor small team of IT Auditors - responsible for IT Audit and SOX stakeholder relationships (Information Services, Finance, and Financial Compliance) - complete an IT Risk Assessment to drive a 3-year IT audit plan - research SOX standards and implement processes to stay current - research assurance standards and audit techniques and.... |
