| Security Guard (2 positions) Category Security City Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Job Description There is FULL-TIME opportunity available (2 positions) reporting to the Manager Security and Life Safety at Polo Park Shopping Centre in Winnnipeg, Manitoba. The successful candidate must be able to work shifts including weekends, nights, and evenings. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: Community College Diploma in Law & Security preferred Certified in First Aid, CPR and AED 1 to 2 years experience with security firm or similar background Working knowledge of federal, provincial and municipal legislation and regulations. Very observant and perceptive Knowledge of, and skills in, crowd control in emergency situations and at special events. Ability to use and inspect safety, fire and security systems on CF property. Computer literate Good written and verbal communication skills Good customer service skills Conflict resolution skills Good judgment Tact and diplomacy KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides protection and security for life and property of CF premises by conducting physical checks while on regular patrol of premises.
