This position deals with department wide confidential and sensitive issues. This position acts as a liaison to members of council, senior management, other departments and other governmental bodies and the general public. Responsibilities The successful candidate will provide a wide range of administrative services for the fire department management team, including but not limited to managing the agenda and schedule of the fire chief, assisting in project management with administration, meeting arrangements and minutes, formatting/typing of reports for committee and council, correspondence, making conference arrangements, answering, screening and referring telephone calls.
