Qualifications High school education plus a certificate/diploma from a recognized office administration program. Minimum 5 years of office experience required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Work, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook with a minimum typing speed of 50+ wpm. Dictaphone and minutes an asset. Experience with medical terminology and transcription an asset. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Sound judgement and decision making skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines is essential. Must be able to work independently in a variety of departments; work with minimum supervision; and be able to recognize and maintain confidential information.
