| POSITION : Sample Reception Coordinator DEPARTMENT : Customer Service Environmental TYPE : Part-time LOCATION : Sudbury JOB REF. No. : SRC-CSE-112 POSTED DATE : 1/13/2012 DESCRIPTION: Receive all client submissions and ensure they are entered and approved in a timely manner according to sample holding time, test code, due date, and / or received date. Ensure all required samples are redirected as required. Ensure supply inventories are maintained Prepare and deliver bottle orders Provide sample pick-ups for local client base Provide support to sample entry team Monitor / Calibrate temperatures of fridges, thermometers and temperature guns. Work closely with project management staff to grow Maxxam’s regional market share with existing and new clients. Proactively ensure overall satisfaction of regional client base including communication to project management and supervisor as appropriate. Adhere to Maxxam’s quality systems QA/QC, SOP's and external accreditation requirements. Adhere to Maxxam's safety policy. QUALIFICATIONS [Minimum Requirements]: Post secondary studies in Sciences, preferably chemistry or environmental related and/or equivalent experience. Experience in a laborato.... |
