| Title Safety Officer Position Overview Location: Clarabelle Mill Job Description Provide a full time and safety officer . Reports to the project manager . Anticipate , identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices . Responsible for the implementation and operations of the Project Safety Program including the development of site safety hazard designs , methods and procedures .Conduct new hire orientation and safety training . Responsible for monitoring all construction work for compliance with Client and Customers safety requirements , interpreting criteria , regulations , guidelines , policies , etc as related to the protection of employees and the public . Maintain quality records of all site safety . Requirements Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent degree / work experience is required 3 to 5 yrs experience in similar role Must possess a strong work ethic , good interpersonal skills , demonstrate good organizational and communication skills Managing and implementing hazard controls and hazard control programs that are within the duties of the safety position Must be able to act independently with little or no supervision and as a team player Must be a.... |
