| STUDENT RECRUITMENT OFFICER (Contractual Position to March 29, 2014) DUTIES The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out the institution's recruitment activities aimed at attracting students to Memorial University's undergraduate programs. Duties include preparing and presenting information sessions about the University to local and national audiences, including high schools, career days, education fairs, and post secondary institutions; working closely with senior University administrators responsible for admissions, academic advising, scholarships and awards, student affairs, university relations and alumni affairs on a variety of recruitment issues; compiling information and assisting in the implementation of the recruitment plan; identifying strategies for recruitment initiatives and assisting in their implementation; answering general public enquiries on recruitment; and performing other related duties as required. This position requires considerable travel and public appearances which will involve working some evenings and weekends.
