| Position: SHIPPING AND RECEIVING SUPERVISOR Location: Charlottetown City: Charlottetown Province: PE Job Description: Our client, a Canadian produce company specializing in supplying the retail and food service industries with premium fresh vegetables, is in search of a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to be an expert in company products and services, and how its merchandise should be stored, handled and even maintained. As part of the management role, you will manage a team of 5 to 10 staff and handle high volumes of shipping, receiving, while managing fork lift drivers. In addition, you monitor all trucking operations, discipline and develop loaders, manager paperwork flow, ensure prompt and accurate delivery requests, manage and evaluate transportation operations, interface and coordinate with operations, and recommend solutions and changes for improving service levels. You are directly involved in inventory management and the related computer systems in inventory control.
