| SHIPPER/RECEIVER Position Type: Administrative Support IV Term: Full-Time Replacement Term (to March 2013) Department: Supply Chain Services Date Posted: January 24, 2012 Closing Date: February 1, 2012 Description: You will be primarily responsible for coordinating warehouse activities, receiving all incoming and outgoing shipments and maintaining related information and records. The position includes providing training and leadership for casual employees and supervising the Distance Delivery co-ordinator. Duties: ? Organizes and maintains shipping and receiving area. ? Processes all incoming and outgoing shipments. ? Off Campus sales- prepares, delivers and returns unsold material to Bookstore ? Maintains accurate records, written and through data entry ? Trains and supervises casual help. ? Documents and prepares book and merchandise returns to suppliers ? Processes and invoices used book purchases to other institutions/suppliers ? Works with central receiving as required ? Participates in staff meetings and year end inventory process. Qualifications: ? High School graduation and 3-4 years related experience ?
