| Position Title: SHIFT MANAGER Classification: PART TIME Hours of Work: VARIABLE Job Competition #: NU11-015 Qualifications Regulated Health Professional required Bachelor’s degree in a health related discipline preferred BCLS required Experience, Skill, and Ability Demonstrated skills in day to day problem solving (staffing, complaint resolution) required Five (5) years current experience in a healthcare environment required Supervisory / management experience preferred Strong leadership and team building skills required Ability to use related information systems tools (Meditech, Staff Scheduling, MS Word, MS Excel) Excellent oral and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to fulfil role within Attendance Support Program parameters Principal Duties Provides administrative and clinical leadership to staff in a supportive, facilitative and empowering manner Provides guidance and mentorship during off hours in terms of decision making around staffing, patient care, and equipment issues Ensures appropriate adherence to the bed management policy in order to maintain access to emergency services, meet the hospital’s commitments, and match patient needs with the app.... |
