| SENIOR NETWORK SPECIALIST JOB # # DATE POSTED 1/5/2012 START DATE JOB DESCRIPTION SENIOR NETWORK SPECIALIST This position is part of the Network Security department, with responsibilities for designing and managing the Security of the network infrastructure. The role reports to the Manager, Network Security. The incumbent will be responsible for management of the Application Delivery and Load Balancing infrastructure. The position will require working with other application and service to understand their requirements from an application and service level as it relates to application delivery, load balancing, fail-over and disaster recovery. the selected individual will create and design test scenarios to ensure the requirements can be met and are adequately testing in the lab, appropriate documentation is created and passed to deployment team for production deployment. A key component of Application delivery and load balancing is the Domain name system. The individual will have a detailed understanding of DNS, how DNS works from both a deep technical and architectural perspective, how it inter-relates with the application delivery infrastructure.
