| Position: SENIOR INVESTMENT OFFICER - Bioscience Location: 10 City: Charlottetown Province: PE Job Description: Our client is seeking a new business development expert to join their prospecting and innovation division in PEI. This position is part of a team of professionals responsible for outside business investment recruitment to the bio-science sector in Prince Edward Island. The position works closely with existing firms acting as a catalyst for growth and will recruit investment by out of province firms to compliment the existing sectors. In this role, you will be responsible for the development of opportunities to attract new companies to PEI including a thorough analysis of the industry, prospective companies, and their related business plans, negotiation of investment packages and presentation to potential investment partners/training institutions, and negotiation of contracts and development of new business start-ups and follow-up audits of performance. The successful candidate will solicit and identify opportunities to attract new companies to PEI, participate in the strategic planning process, and further sector development.
