Provide guidance and advice to senior officials related to DND and Canadian Forces policies and issues ? Conduct gap analysis, identify strength, weaknesses or lack of existing programs or procedures ? Develop and recommend policies and procedures changes that will strengthen DND and the CF activities with regards to the issue at stake ? Review and propose amendments to legislation, guidelines for improved governance ? Review and provide advice on optimizing resources allocations ? Prepare final report ? Review documents on current and future requirements, emerging issues ? Contribute to briefings materials, speaking points, media information, press conference Mandatory Qualifications : ? Significant and demonstrated knowledge of GoC and DND policies and issues (minimum 10 years) ? Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a CF environment and understanding of CF personnel imperatives ? Minimum 10 years experience in senior leadership positions and supporting issues and initiatives related.... |
