| SA2 Communications, Promotion and Outreach Coordinator This position is available through the Job Creation Partnership Program, offered in partnership with Employment Ontario . The Job Creation Partnership program is designed to provide those receiving Employment Insurance benefits (or those with reach back status) work experience opportunities needed to acquire more marketable skills to help them find future employment. CONTRACT LENGTH : 26 weeks START DATE : ASAP END DATE : For Set Weeks REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Reports to the Committee Convenor and Partnerships Manager JOB SUMMARY : Works with Convenor and committees to develop and implement communications, promotion and outreach strategies for Festival activities. These activities involve community outreach and promotion through grassroots consultation, marketing, and external communications. RESPONSIBILITIES : In conjunction with the Convenor and Steering Committee and subcommittees: Develop and implement a communications, promotion and outreach plan to raise awareness, understanding and attendance at Festival activities within target communities, alumni, stakeholders, volunteers and the media.
