| Restorative Care Aide Activation/Recreation Services ON - Greater Toronto Area , Villa Forum Job Type: Contract (Full-Time) Date Posted: January 12, 2012 The ideal candidate will be a cheerful person who will provide assistance to the physiotherapist/occupational therapist in carrying out a broad range of interventions to maximize resident potential for independence, improved mobility, transferability and pain relief. The successful candidate possesses a Restorative Care Certificate or an OTA/PTA diploma as well as the ability to develop, implement, and evaluate diversified programs and services to meet the physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of all residents. A sound knowledge and background in Long Term Care focusing on a working knowledge of rehabilitation, physiotherapy and gerontology is an asset. Bilingualism in English and Italian required.
