| Position Title: Respiratory Therapist I Competition Number: CRH-12-081 Status: Part-Time Temporary - Duration: Anticipated for 3 months with possibility of extension FTE: .50 Department: Respiratory Services Position Type: Both Position Description/ Required Qualifications: Position Summary: Under the direction of the Manager of Cardio-Respiratory Services at the Chinook Regional Hospital and the coordination of a Floors Supervisor, the Respiratory Therapist I provides assessment, treatment, and education to neonatal, pediatric and adult patients with cardiopulmonary disease, trauma and other emergent conditions throughout the Chinook Regional Hospital . In addition to patient care, the Respiratory Therapist I is responsible for the providing direction to administrative personnel regarding patient care and act as preceptors for Respiratory Therapy students. Qualifications: Required Formal Education: Graduate of a recognized School of Respiratory Therapy by the Council on Accreditation for Respiratory Therapy Education (CoARTE) Required License(s)/Certificate(s): Successful completion of the National Respiratory Therapy Certification Exam administered by the Canadian Board for Respi.... |
