| Employment Opportunities Resident Care Manager Toronto Department: Nursing Job Type: Manager Available Position(s): 1 Description: Experience in geriatric nursing and caring for the cognitively impaired will be given priority. Comprehensive nursing knowledge of geriatric issues and the ability to effectively resolve resident care issues. An excellent interpersonal skill as well as the ability to effectively communicate in English is essential. Two years nursing experience in a retirement or long term care setting are preferred. As a member of our management team, you must have excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving and customer service skills. Additionally, you are computer literate and have proven supervisory skills and abilities. Requirements: The successful candidate will possess a current certificate of competence as a registered nurse or registered practical nurse from the College of Nurses of Ontario and current first aid /CPR certificate Offers of employment are subject to criminal record checks.
