| RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting to the Revenue Manager the Reservation Manager is responsible for: - Provide leadership, direction and support to Reservations team members while adhering to the hotel vision. - Oversee colleague planning, recruitment, selection and development through goal development and coaching. - Close liaison with Sales team and Group Coordinator ensuring effective and timely handling of all group business. - Mentor colleagues through bi-weekly one on one meeting, performance evaluation, and corrective measures as required. - Ensures delivery of exceptional service through focus on training, problem resolution, employee satisfaction and analysis of customer feedback and trends on a daily basis. - Handle guest concerns as it relates to reservation bookings and ensure effective follow up. - Maximization of occupancy, average rate and rooms revenue through participation in the forecast, budget, outlook and competition rate awareness. - Ensures service standards and new Fairmont Training Programs are fully integrated in training of new employees as well as on going training. - Involved in staff communication meetings and participates in hotel meetings as required. - Re.... |
