| Job Title: Research/Echo Technical Assistant - Faculty of Medicine Job ID: 1982 Location: Foothills Campus Full/Part Time: Full-Time Regular/Temporary: Regular Return to Previous Page Position Overview The Department of Cardiac Science in the Faculty of Medicine invites applications for a Research/Echo Tehcnical Assistant . This Full-time Fixed Term position is for approximately 3 years (based on length of grant funding), with the possibility of extension. Position Description Summary of Key Responsibilities (job functions include but are not limited to): The Research / Cardiac Sonographer Assistant reports to the Director and the Manager of the Cardiovascular Opportunities Network , Epidemiology and Clinical Trials (CON-ECT) Centre, as well as the lead Sonographer in the CON-ECT Echo Research Lab. Assist with the conduct of multi-centre and local clinical trials, to manage remote clinical trial sites, to assist technical staff with data collection / analysis and supervise students with the CON-ECT Centre, perform cardiac ultrasounds, and both follow and help develop specific research protocols.
