| Title Research Assistant Job ID TBCC-12-003 Duties & Responsibilities This is a temporary full-time position until September 15, 2012 and will work out of both the Tom Baker Cancer Centre and the Holy Cross sites. With the support of the Clinical Research Unit, the Research Assistant will be responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to a variety of research studies. Duties include but are not limited to: Book Study related procedures and appointments Contact study participants with study assessment schedule and for fo low-up Enter and organize trial bookings Assist in the development of study procedures and research materials Update study and participants lists Maintain accurate records of all patients on a clinical trial. Preparation/maintenance of screening statistics Retrieval of patient specimens or test results Preparing laboratory/screening kits Photocopying various confidential documents, reports Filing of regulatory and other study related materials Update TBCC chart with trial specific documents Other duties as assigned Qualifications Grade XII diploma a minimum of one year training and/or related ex ierience in a research setting.
