| Title Research Assistant II Job ID TBCC-12-021 Function The Department of Population Health Research and the CBCF Tumor Bank is seeking a Research Assistant II (Assistant Study Coordinator) to assist the Study Coordinators for the Alberta Cancer Research Biorepository, the CBCF Tumor Bank, Breast Cancer to Bone (B2B) Metastasis Research Program and the Colorectal Metastasis Study. The position would report to the Primary Investigator, Research Scientist/Molecular Epidemiologist Dr. Nigel Brockton and the Manager of the Biorepository to implement the recruitment, enrolment, obtaining consent, coordinating the collection and storage of the biological specimens and data entry of health information. Duties & Responsibilities Assists with recruitment and contacts study participants regarding their participation in the study; this may involve some weekend and evening phone calls. Performs data entry using an Access database(s) and various health information systems to accurately track health information on participants in the studies. Performs general office duties, such as study package assembly, filing, photocopying and faxing. This includes the receipt, logging and inventory of incomi.... |
