| Title Research Assistant II (Assistant Study Coordinator) Job ID TBCC-12-004 Function This Position will work from Both the Tom Baker Cancer Centre and Holy Cross Sites. The Department of Population Health Research is seeking a Research Assistant to assist Research Scientist/Molecular Epidemiologist Dr. Nigel Brockton and his staff in coordinating an exciting new multi-disciplinary research program investigating breast cancer metastasis to bone: the Breast to Bone (B2B) Metastasis Research Program. The B2B Research Program is a multidisciplinary research program, involving investigators from Alberta Health Services-Cancer Care and the University of Calgary, with the primary goal of identifying factors related to the spread of breast cancer to bone. Duties & Responsibilities Assists with recruitment and contacts study participants regarding their participation in the study; this may involve some weekend and evening phone calls. Assists with data entry using an Access database. Assists with general office duties, such as study package assembly, filing, photocopying and faxing.
