| Reporter About This Position Job Title: Reporter Department: Editorial Division: Northumberland County Metroland Media Group Ltd., which produces award winning community newspapers and websites, is looking for a full-time Reporter for its Northumberland County division. This is a full-time position that requires strong writing and an ability to come up with fresh, in-depth story ideas. The candidate will be expected to cover town and county councils, and produce clean, quick, and interesting stories as a result. As well as reporting for our newspaper, publications, and special sections, the successful candidate should have multimedia skills, as they will also be required to provide online content. Do you have a Twitter account? Are you active on Facebook and other social media channels? Do you embrace a wide variety of traditional and new media to tell your stories? If you do, you will enjoy being part of our team. The successful candidate must be able to work well with others, be organized, multi-task under tight deadlines, show leadership, and have solid news judgment.
