The Relief Institutional Nurse models and promotes excellence in nursing care while caring for low, medium and high risk offenders ensuring North Slave Correctional Centre??s safety and security measures, policies and procedures are adhered to. Applicants must have an advanced knowledge of and an ability to apply the nursing process as well as current nursing practice to ensure that the offender??s physical, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual and health education needs are met.
