| Rehabilitation Assistant POSITION SCOPE: Reporting to the Manager, Ambulatory Care/Rehabilitation Services, the Rehabilitation Assistant works under the supervision and direction of Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapist, participating in the overall plan of care for the client by providing rehabilitation interventions and education. The Rehabilitation Assistant may provide other duties to support the efficient running of the service. The Rehabilitation Assistant ensures that the principles and practices that guide AVH such as the mission, vision, values, expected behaviours, the leadership philosophy, organizational health, population health, ethics, safety, quality, partnerships and interprofessional collaboration are integrated within the services they provide and through the messages they deliver. QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of a Rehabilitation Assistant Program - PTA (Physiotherapy) or OTA (Occupational Therapy) or Combined PTA/OTA program OR Recent relevant experiences (within the last year) working directly as a Rehabilitation Assistant First Aid and CPR certification Proven keyboarding and computer skills with proficiency in using various software applications, such as th.... |
