| Title: Registered Practical Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse Job Type: Casual Hours Location: Brierwood Gardens, Brantford, ON Apply By: March 1, 2012 Responsibilities Assesses the needs of individual residents and organizes for the provision of resident care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Participates in the formulation of the Resident Care Plan. Assists in planning assignments for self and Health Care Aides/Nurse Aides, Attendants and delegates accordingly to provide for effective resident care taking into account the physical, spiritual, psychosocial and restorative needs of the resident. Supervises the nursing care given by Health Care Aides/Nurse Aides, Attendants under his/her direction, in accordance with the Resident Care Plans. Maintains effective communication and good interpersonal relations with medical and allied staff, residents, families and other departments. Assists with the implementation and enforcement of all facility and departmental policies including QE/RM responsibilities.
