Position : Registered Practical Nurse Department: Complex Continuing Care - Rehabilitation and Geriatrics Unit Status : Temporary Part-Time (must provide availability up to a 0.4 FTE to approximately March 31, 2012) Hours : Monday to Sunday - All Shifts Site: Milton Responsibilities : To deliver complete nursing care to patients on a Complex Continuing Care Unit. Qualifications : Halton Healthcare Services is seeking individuals who are competent in their chosen profession; patient/customer focused; effective communicators; team players; caring and respectful and are fiscally responsible. Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario Current BCLS certification required Medication administration certification and experience Experience working with and advocating for the elderly Knowledge and ability to complete p hysical head to toe assessment s Experience with skin and wound care Experience with enteral feeds Maintenance of IV lines Experien.... |
