| Job Title: Registered Nurse Job ID: 9156 Location: Fort Smith Department FSHSSA Acute Care Return to Previous Page Department Information Registered Nurse Fort Smith Health and Social Services Authority Fort Smith, NT Job Information The Fort Smith Health and Social Services Authority (FSHSSA) administers all regional health and social services delivered through the Fort Smith Health Centre and the Northern Lights Special Care Home, an accredited facility that also includes the Allied Health Service areas and offices (administration, social services, public health and coordinated home care), a medical clinic and an emergency ward and dialysis unit. The facility serves approximately 3,000 residents of Fort Smith, approximately 700 transient residents as well as the residents of Fort Fitzgerald and Peace Point. Located within the FSHSSA the Registered Nurse (RN) provides culturally sensitive care to patients of the Acute Care Centre and residents of Long Term Care who have been admitted to the Health Centre because they require 24-hour medical and nursing treatment.
