This innovative unit will focus on care for patients with Spinal Cord lesions - traumatic, degenerative, oncological, infectious and vascular. The unit will house both acute and rehabilitation patients. This position will have specific responsibility at the General Site. Position Summary: The Registered Nurse provides nursing care according to the job description and standards of practice and criteria for Registered Nurses on 6th Floor. Scheduled Working Hours: days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays Qualifications: 1. Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nursing of Ontario as a Registered Nurse 2. Step down course, ECG monitoring education and experience 3. Recent (within the last three years) acute surgical nursing experience 4. Demonstrated knowledge of the Nursing Care Planning process 5.
