Halton Healthcare Services Posting #: 2012-670395 Position: Registered Nurse Department: Maternal Child - Birthing Suite Status: Temporary Part-time (available to work up to a .5 FTE for approximately 7 months) Hours: Monday to Sunday - 12 hour days/nights, alternate weekends (Hours are subject to change based on operational needs) Site: Oakville Responsibilities: The successful incumbent will provide triage and care to the pregnant woman throughout labour and birth including vaginal and Caesarean deliveries, plus recovery of the Caesarean mother. Qualifications: Halton Healthcare Services is seeking individuals who are competent in their chosen profession; patient/customer focused; effective communicators; team players; caring and respectful and are fiscally responsible. Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario required Current BCLS Certification required Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Obstetrics required Current Obstetric O.R. certificate and/or experience required Obstetric O.R and PACU experience preferred Must have previous experience in maternal-fetal assessment Proficient.... |
