| Competition Number : 6-11-571-CB Title of Position: Registered Nurse (RN-2) Status: Part-time Department: Nursing (Emergency) Location: Chaleur Regional Hospital- Bathurst Job Summary: To participate in the planning, organizing, delivery and evaluation of nursing care in accordance with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the hospital and the nursing service department. Requirements: Must have two years experience in nursing; Successful completion of an arrhythmia course (minimum of 1 week in length) is obligatory; Must have successfully completed the A.C.L.S. course within 1 year; Demonstrated ability to apply theoretical knowledge; Demonstrated ability to manage stressful situations and set priorities; Demonstrated problem solving skills; Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, public, co-workers, Public Health agencies and medical staff; Successful completion of required certification programs for medical delegated functions and advanced nursing skills specific to the unit as per set time frame.
