| Job Title: Regional Occupational Therap Job ID: 9237 Location: Inuvik Department BDHSSA Occupational Therapy Return to Previous Page Department Information Located within the Inuvik Regional Hospital and reporting directly to the Supervisor, Rehabilitation Services the Regional Occupational Therapist independently provides assessment, diagnostic, rehabilitative and preventative services to inpatients and outpatients ranging from pediatrics and geriatrics. Job Information The incumbent plans, organizes, delivers and evaluates Occupational Therapy services in the hospital (including the Acute Care ward, Long Term Care ward and the outpatient clinic), in the community health centres, in the home and in school settings both in Beaufort Delta and the Sahtu regions. The Occupational Therapist assists the Supervisor, Rehabilitation Services in managing physical, financial and human resources. This level of knowledge, skills and abilities are typically acquired by the completion of a University Degree in Occupational Therapy at a Bachelor s or Masters Level.
