| POSITION SUMMARY: The Regional Director is responsible for meeting objectives related to the profitable growth of mortgage business managed through the Regions District Sales Managers and Mortgage Development Managers as well as achieving other objectives related to customer service, human resource management and operational effectiveness. He/she provides direction to the District Sales Managers in a manner consistent with the overall Canadian Bank and Alternate Delivery strategy of developing a customer-focussed sales culture. QUALIFICATIONS: Expert knowledge of sales management techniques; Expert knowledge of products and services Expert knowledge of the mortgage industry, an understanding of local economic, market and competitive conditions. Thorough knowledge of Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, Working knowledge of products and services offered by other financial institutions and niche competitors; EDUCATION AND ACCREDITATIONS: University degree or work equivalency OTHER INFORMATION: The incumbent spends most of their time in realtor offices and branches rather than working in a standard office environment.
